Sew Into You(th)

Sew Into You(th) is a 7-week fashion design course created in collaboration with Sew So Fresh and The Youth Design Center.  This fashion design course invites young creators ages 11–13 to explore the world of style, sewing, and self-expression. Through hands-on sessions led by experienced designers, participants will learn the foundations of garment construction, textile selection, machine sewing, and creative design. Each student will sketch, sew, and showcase their own original fashion piece by the end of the program. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and imagination. 

Tuition: This is a sliding-scale program with a suggested tuition range of $150–$200.

Over the 7 weeks, young designers will:

  • Build confidence in sewing and design skills.

  • Walk away with a portfolio piece. 

  • Learn to use sewing machines and basic tools safely.

  • Practice sketching, pattern-making, and creative problem-solving.

  • Collaborate with peers in a supportive studio environment.

  • Participate in a fashion show celebrating their work.
